Hey Lock Picking 101 Community, actually I have kind of a strange problem. The lock i am referring to is a 4 dial combination Lock manufactured by Burg Wächter. It is the seventh on this site http://www.burg.biz/live_website/html/d ... hl.de.htmlNow to my problem. As most of these combination locks you can change the combination by pressing down the shackle turned around 180° after you opened the lock regularly. Somehow my lock got stuck in this position :/ Here's a picture of how my lock looks now: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/70 ... 23256.jpg/I can move the dials and theres a little space to move the shackle (turn it about 10° and move it 1-2mm up and down) Is anyone familiar with such a problem and is there an easy way to solve it? Thanks for your help

It appears to be locked (shackle in the fully down position. Enter the new combination and pull up on the shackle, then the old combination if the new one does not work.

If those don't work, you are down to starting at 0000 and trying all combinations to 9999, until you find the one that works.
Good luck,

Well thanks for your help but I can't enter a new combination. There is no possibility to pull up the shackle and my old combination doesn't work either. So tomorrow i will enter all combinations Thank you anyway

TazDingo,
This may sound weird, and it may not work at all, but look at the dial for your lock, then figure out what combination is on the opposite side of the lock. For example, if your new combination is 1274, try entering 6729. Same for your old combination. I suspect it may work.

@Admins and Mods,
I know combination locks are advanced, but he is not asking for, nor receiving, decoding or bypassing info, and has shown a picture of his lock. If my answers were inappropriate, please let me know.

Out of curiosity, and for future reference, what was your solution?

He can't say, as it is a way of decoding.
